What this site is, technically

The pages of this site are static files, served as-is. The pages contain no analytics scripts, no advertising code, and no third-party embeds; the one font is served from this domain. The site sets no cookies of its own.

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and to operate its network; Cloudflare describes that processing in its own privacy policy.

The contact form

The contact form is the one place this site accepts data. A submission stores what was typed — name, email address, subject, message — together with the submitting IP address, the browser's user-agent string, and a timestamp, in a private database. That stored submission is read in order to act on the message: to consider a correction, or to reply when a reply was requested and an address was given.

Name and email fields are optional; a message can be sent with both left blank.
